“Response” to the attack by Ukraine a few days ago with US ATACMS missiles on positions where S-400 systems located in Kursk, was announced by Moscow via a Defense Ministry briefing. At the same time, it made it known that yesterday the Ukrainians launched a new attack with 8 missiles of the same type at the Kursk-Vostochny airport, with seven of them shot down and one reaching the target.
“On 25 November 2024, the Kiev regime launched another attack with eight operational-tactical ATACMS missiles on Kursk-Vostochny airport. Seven missiles were shot down by the combat crews of the S-400 missile defense system and the Pantsir missile and air defense gun system, one reached its target. As a result of falling missile fragments, two servicemen were slightly injured and the infrastructure facilities suffered minor damage,” the Russian ministry’s statement said.
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry presented photos of the remnants of ATACMS missiles that the Ukrainian armed forces used to attack two targets in the Kursk region on November 23 and 25.
Earlier, the Russian ministry said that on November 23, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an attack with ATACMS missiles on the site of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile division. Three missiles were shot down, two reached their target and caused radar damage, while there were casualties among Russian soldiers.
