A pedestrian was fatally struck on Thursday afternoon (December 5) in Piraeus, resulting in the man’s death.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Charilaou Trikoupi and Akti Moutsopoulou streets, under circumstances that remain unclear. The 88-year-old man was hit by a garbage truck.

Authorities are investigating the incident.
