“If you like looking at the stars, you don’t have to look for them in the sky. Because this holiday season, all the stars will be parading in the Christmas Village of Attica Region in Pedion of Areos” the Attica Region noted in a statement.
As the Region states, “From Sunday 8 December to Tuesday 7 January, visitors to the Village, young and old, will have the opportunity to enjoy, with free admission, a rich artistic program for all tastes in three musical stages set up by the Region in the Field of Areos.”
The “official first” will take place on Sunday 8 December at 6 pm, with a program and the lighting of the lights from end to end throughout the Park by the Attica Regional Governor Nikos Hardalias, which will also mark the opening of the Xmas night.
Along with the light show for the lighting of the Village, a drone show will take place in the sky with Christmas figures and festive content.
On stage, Eleni Foureira and Giorgos Perris with a special festive repertoire, presented by Themis Georgantas.
New Year’s Eve with Christos Mastoras
On New Year’s Eve, Christos Mastoras and the “Bees” with their favorite songs, on stage will wish together with the audience “Happy New Year” at the big outdoor party of the Attica Region with the event presented again by Themis Georgantas.
With them will be Zaf and ONEMANSHOW and the party will continue with music from Mad Radio 106.2. Note that the participation of the band “Bees” is pro bono, with their fee donated to the structures of the Region for the needs of vulnerable groups.
On Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, the Armed Forces Band will be on the main stage, while on Christmas Eve, Tasos Ioannidis, creator of the songs “Lachana and Hachana” and the children’s theatre performances of the same name, will take children on a journey through his musical universe.

On Friday, December 13 Eleni Petta, Dimitra Stathopoulou, and Spyros Kleissas will take us on a musical journey together with the Mimis Plessas Orchestra to the timeless hits of the great composer.
On Saturday 14 December, ONIRAMA will set the stage on fire with Penelope Anastasopoulou, 14 years after their first musical meeting at the Garage Party
On Sunday 15 December, Pantelis Thalassinos, Memos Begnis, Matthildi Mangira, and Pavlina Voulgaraki sing hits from the best films of old and modern Greek cinema
On Thursday, December 19, Eurydiki joins Myronas Stratis on stage and together they set up a special live party.
On Saturday, December 21, Rena Morfi with her band and their uplifting music presented a program full of surprise covers.
On Sunday 22 December, Yiannis Bezos, Tania Trypi, Violeta Ikaris, Eleni Karakasi, and Babis Velissarios will take us on a journey to the urban song of the inter-war period.
On Friday, December 27, the leading singer Glyceria meets Dmitris Basis on stage.
On Saturday 28 December, Stavento and Evi Adamou will take to the stage for an explosive show, while at noon on the same day, a contemporary children’s opera by Thodoris Lebesis will precede the show.
On Sunday 29 December, Yiannis Zouganelis, Rena Morfi, Kostas Thomaidis, Niki Grana, and Yannis Dionysiou will perform songs by great Greek composers on the theme of children.
On Monday, December 30, Peggy Zina, Babis Stokas, and Kostas Triantaphyllides present a unique tribute to the unforgettable Greek performer Dimitris Mitroplanos.
On Saturday 4 January, Eleni Tsaligopoulou, Melina Kana, and Fotini Velesiotou will perform songs by the three great ladies of Greek song, S. Bellou, P. Panou, and V. Moscholiou.
All the days of the holidays, both smaller music stages will be filled with Christmas melodies from bands, street artists, saxophonists, dance groups, and youth groups, in a rich repertoire, while there will be interactive performances, especially for children – of all ages
At the same time, there will be an ice rink, a carousel, interactive games for all ages, educational activities and ecological awareness routes, a large tasting corner, as well as forty wooden houses, where visitors can buy handmade creations, gifts, and Christmas ornaments.
