Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms, accompanied by a high frequency of lightning and local hailstorms, are forecast in places until the early hours of today (08-12-2024) in Thrace, the eastern Aegean islands and possibly the Dodecanese, the Cyclades and western Crete, according to the updated emergency Weather Forecast by EMY.

Lot of rain yesterday in Western Greece and the Dodecanese

In Attica, clouds are expected with the possibility of local rain after the afternoon hours. The winds will blow from southern directions with intensities up to 3-4 and locally in the east of the prefecture up to 5-6 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 10 to 16-17 degrees Celsius.

In Thessaloniki initially clouds are expected with showers from the evening hours, while there is a possibility of local thunderstorms.
