Condolences from Dendias to his Turkish counterpart for five deaths following military helicopter crash

The helicopter belonged to the Army Aviation School and was on a training flight

Nikos Dendias expressed his condolences to his Turkish counterpart for the loss of five members of the Turkish Armed Forces who were aboard a military helicopter that crashed in western Turkey.

“I contacted Turkish Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler to express my heartfelt condolences for the loss of life of the Turkish Armed Forces personnel who were aboard a military helicopter,” Mr. Dendias stated in a post on X.

The helicopter belonged to the Army Aviation School and was performing a training flight.

The crash occurred very close to a fuel depot in the Keçiborlu area. Firefighting units and ambulances rushed to the scene.
