Trump invited the President of China to his inauguration

Republican US President-elect Donald Trump has since early November invited China’s President Xi Jinping to attend his inauguration ceremony on January 20, 2025, CBS News reported yesterday (Wednesday), citing “multiple” sources, which it did not name.

The network added that it is unclear whether Xi has accepted the invitation and will be present at the federal Capitol next month.
