NHS hospitals: Progressing procedures for new governors – Which region is falling behind

After many months, the marathon process of selecting new administrations for public hospitals is coming to an end. With the exception of the 1st Health Region (YPE) of Attica, which is several steps … behind the other six YPEs, the rest are either just about to start oral interviews or are in the process of interviewing candidates in order to come up with the top three.

In more detail, according to the information of ygeiamou.gr, the 7th Health Region of Crete is ahead in time in the process, since the completion of the interviews of the “seven” as they emerged after the written examinations and the control of formal qualifications by the competent committees of the ASEP and the Ministry of Health. The oral interviews will result in three shortlisted candidates for each hospital and the final selection will be made by the Minister of Health, according to the law.
