An alarm has been raised by Kalamata authorities following the murder of a 52-year-old man by a 35-year-old man from Turkey.

According to police sources, the crime took place at a local hotel where the two men were doing renovation work.

For an unknown reason, the perpetrator and the victim got into a confrontation and as a result, the 35-year-old man grabbed a knife and stabbed the 52-year-old man to death.

The 52-year-old was a contractor while the 35-year-old Turkish man, who was arrested, was reportedly an employee.
