Payments through the IRIS Retail Instant Payments Settlement system offer significant benefits, such as real-time transactions, security through encryption to protect data, and convenience, as no card or account details are required—just the recipient’s phone number or email. The service is supported by numerous banks and applications in Greece, making it easy and accessible for users.

The management of e-EFKA, in collaboration with its staff and with the unwavering support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, continues its consistent efforts toward digital transformation. Its goal remains to provide more effective, user-friendly, and accessible services for citizens while also achieving a reduction in administrative costs.

It is worth noting that this new initiative follows the highly positive response to previous payment options, such as the IRIS system and the online DIAS platform, for employers and debtors.
