The menu of the luncheon to be held after Donald Trump’s oracle ceremony has been released.
Notably, after being sworn in as president for the second time, Trump will lunch with key dignitaries, a ceremonial event that has been taking place for more than half a century.
Among other things, guests will be served “crab cakes with tomato tartare, bay leaf sauce, pickled vegetables, broccoli romanesco, dill, and chives”, followed by a second course of “beef ribeye with Thumbelina carrots, broccoli rabe, herb sauce, carrot and potato gratin.”
They will finish with dessert, apple terrine with sour cream ice cream, and salted caramel, according to a press release from the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies.
Each dish is also accompanied by its wine, one from Monticello, Virginia, and two from California.
The luncheon will be produced in Statuary Hall in the U.S. Capitol.
