A 17-year-old local was arrested on Thursday afternoon (23/1) by officers of the Immediate Response Unit (DIAS Team) in the area of Nea Filadelfia. He is accused of violating drug-related laws and driving without a valid license.

Specifically, the aforementioned officers, while patrolling the area, spotted the 17-year-old riding a motorbike in Nea Filadelfia and stopped him for a check.

During the inspection, seven nylon bags containing a total of 7 grams of raw cannabis, ready for distribution, were found in his possession, along with a digital precision scale and €90 in cash. It was also confirmed that he did not hold a valid driver’s license.

Additionally, a search of his home uncovered and confiscated a carefully hidden wallet containing €3,000.

The arrested individual, along with the case file compiled against him by the Crime Suppression and Investigation Department of Nea Filadelfia – Nea Chalkidona, was brought before the competent Prosecutor.
