James Franco visited Greece for the inauguration of his art exhibition titled “Dreams, Fame, and the Savage”, held at the Breeder Gallery in Athens. The Oscar-nominated actor was accompanied by his Greek-origin partner, Isabel Pakzad, as they celebrated the opening on Thursday, January 23
The exhibition features works by Franco and internationally acclaimed video and performance artist Kalup Linzy. The duo explored themes such as fame, morality, and societal roles in their collaborative and individual creations.

Franco, visibly excited, shared his fondness for Greece, mentioning:
“My partner is half Greek, so we come to Greece every year, and I absolutely love it here.”
The event drew a notable crowd, including celebrities and art enthusiasts, such as Chrysanthos Panas, actor Solon Tsounis, and Giannis and Dimitra Kousta. The couple, Franco and Pakzad, posed happily for photographs, showcasing their joy and connection.

Franco and Pakzad have been together since November 2017 and made their first public appearance in the summer of 2018. Reflecting on his past, Franco shared in a podcast:
“I struggled with being present in relationships, and I wasn’t faithful in the past. But everything changed when I met Isabel.”

Pakzad, like Franco, is also an actress and director. She starred in the 2020 film Birds of Prey and appeared alongside Franco in the 2019 TV series The Deuce.

Franco’s exhibition runs until the end of the week, marking yet another creative endeavor in the actor’s multifaceted career.
