To date, just over 20 biomarkers have been reimbursed in Greece. These are special tests through which it is determined with considerable accuracy when an oncological treatment can be effective. Biomarkers are an important “weapon” in the quiver of oncologists for the formulation of the treatment plan of oncological patients and the individualization of cancer treatment.
