A new strong earthquake struck Santorini at 14:55 on Sunday, measuring 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale. The epicenter was recorded 19 kilometers south-southwest of Arkesini, Amorgos, with a focal depth of 14.1 kilometers.

The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Institute also recorded the tremor at 4.7 magnitude.

At 13:04, another 4.3-magnitude earthquake was recorded, following two strong tremors earlier in the morning, measuring 4.5 and 4.1 magnitude.
