The SEF (Peace and Friendship Stadium) has once again suffered from water leaks following the heavy rainfall in Athens on Monday night (3/2), with significant amounts of water dripping onto the court of the Faliro-based arena.
This marks the third time such an incident has occurred at Olympiacos‘ home court this season. However, the “Reds” do not have an immediate home game scheduled, as their next match at SEF is set for next Monday (10/2) against PAOK.
It is worth noting that the director of Greece’s National Meteorological Service (EMY), Theodoros Kolydas, stated in a post regarding the storm that average rainfall levels ranged from 20 to 30 millimeters, while in the southern areas, they reached up to 40 millimeters—right at the Peace and Friendship Stadium.
