Donald Trump wants to eliminate paper straws and is set to sign an executive order to that effect.

The new U.S. president, in a post on Truth Social, declared his intention to reverse his predecessors’ efforts on the matter.

“I will sign an executive order next week that will put an end to Biden’s ridiculous push for paper straws, which don’t even work. Back to plastic!” Trump wrote.

Elon Musk shared Trump’s statement on paper straws, commenting, “The greatest president of all time!”
