The journalist Roula Karakousi died

"The Board of Directors of ESIEA bids farewell to our good colleague and extends its deepest condolences to her family"

Journalist Roula Karakousi has passed away at the age of 60. Roula Karakousi was born in Lamia, in 1965. She began her journalistic career at the newspaper “TO KERDOS” in 1987, covering art and foreign markets. Then, from 1994 and for more than twenty years, she continued at the newspaper “KATHIMERINI”, as head of television reporting. From 2018 until the end of her life, she worked at the “ALTER EGO” Group at the news website “in.gr”.

“It is with great sadness that the Board of Directors of ESIEA announces the death of our colleague Argyroula (Roula) Karakousi, who passed away today, at the age of 60. Roula Karakousi demonstrated consistency and professionalism throughout her career and was distinguished for her modesty, ethics, kindness and collegiality. The Board of Directors of ESIEA bids farewell to our good colleague and extends its deepest condolences to her family and especially to her brother, colleague Antonis Karakousis,” ESIEA said in a statement.
