The 2nd Annual Orancon Travel Forum is being held on February 28 and March 1 at a central Athens hotel. This initiative aims to globalize the Greek tourism product and highlight innovative and unique applications across the entire spectrum of tourism activity through dialogue, exchange of best practice proposals and international synergies. This year’s event will focus mainly on the impact of climate change on the tourism industry in Europe and the emerging future of cruising in the Mediterranean region, with the participation of high-level executives from public and private institutions and businesses in the tourism sector. Public and private sector operators and public and private sector institutions and companies.

Also, Tourism Open Days (TOD) 2025 will evolve throughout the year, with events in five European cities. Each of the events is structured in three parts: in the first, the participating destinations are presented; in the second, the representatives of the destinations and their tourism professionals have the opportunity for targeted B2B meetings with travel agents, tour operators and opinion leaders, while the third is a formal dinner for all the guests to give them the opportunity to get to know each other better. This year’s TODs will start in Sofia (12/3) and will continue in Bucharest (11/4), Paris (16/9), Istanbul (2/10) and Vienna (16/10).
