The incident took place at the beginning of the session of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Affairs, with Floros, a former MP from the Spartans party, placing the banner on the presidium’s desk.

It is worth recalling that Mr. Floros was involved in a previous incident a few months ago, where he physically assaulted Greek Solution MP Vasilis Grammenos.

The President of the Committee on Social Affairs, Giorgos Stylianou, commenting on Floros’ action, said, “From the first day I took office, I asked all colleagues from all parties to rise to the level of Parliament and not turn the Parliament into a square. Some want to weaponize Tempi, but we all want the truth to come out and for something like this to never happen again.”
