The platform for participating in the electronic auctions for the granting of simple use of 550 coastal and beach sections for the year 2025 has been launched. It is reminded that, under the new law passed and implemented for the first time last year, the auctions for the granting of coastal and beach sections are now conducted exclusively digitally through the special platform (https://eauctions.gsis.gr). This ensures transparency, speed, and the integrity of the process. The deadline for conducting the electronic auctions is March 31, 2025.

The platform for participating in the electronic auctions is the result of cooperation between the General Secretariat for Public Property of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance and the General Secretariat for Information Systems and Public Administration of the Ministry of Digital Governance. The participation process has now been simplified, allowing anyone who wishes and meets the participation requirements to do so without obstacles or delays.

The goal is to ensure the maximum possible participation and uninterrupted access for interested parties to the competition, while also establishing strict rules that guarantee the rational management of shared coastal and beach spaces, aiming at the optimal revenue generation for the Greek State.
