The Permanent Committee for the Prevention of Violence has imposed a two-year ban from stadiums on five individuals

They were involved in the incidents of the Lavrio - Maroussi game for the Basket League

Newsroom February 27 06:45

The sporting judge of E.S.A.K.E. had already penalized Lavrio with a home-ground ban, but the committee also imposed heavy fines and stadium bans on the individuals involved in the disturbances. These individuals had thrown objects, including plastic water bottles and a metal horn, towards the stands and playing area during the February 9th, 2025 match. One of the objects even caused a minor injury to a police officer.

The DEAB’s decision was based on several reports, including those from the police department of Southeastern Attica and the Subdivision for the Prevention of Organized Sports Violence of the Greek Police. The individuals were identified via video footage and were handed various penalties. One individual received a fine of €4,000, while the others were fined €3,000 each. Additionally, all five individuals were banned from entering any sports facilities for two years.
