Live: No-confidence debate peaks in Greek Parliament

The roll-call vote will take place at 9:00 PM

The three-day parliamentary debate on the no-confidence motion against the government reaches its peak tonight, with speeches from Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, opposition party leaders, and a crucial roll-call vote scheduled for 9:00 PM. The motion was submitted by PASOK-KINAL, SYRIZA, Nea Aristera, Plefsi Eleftherias, and nine independent MPs.

Throughout the day, MPs will take the floor, followed by party representatives speaking in reverse order of parliamentary strength. The final speeches will come from parliamentary group leaders, with the Prime Minister closing the debate. The vote will take place electronically, requiring 151 votes to pass. If rejected, no new motion can be submitted for six months unless backed by an absolute majority of MPs.
