According to meteorologist Nikoletta Ziakopoulou, temperatures will locally exceed 20°C, while northerly winds will gradually weaken. No rain is expected, making it an ideal weekend for outdoor activities.

Meteorologist Klearchos Marousakis predicts that this spring-like weather will persist until March 16, with no significant rainfall but a possible arrival of African dust, particularly in central and southern regions. However, by mid-March, a shift is expected, bringing a brief return to winter conditions, with a drop in temperatures and unsettled weather.

On Friday, temperatures soared above 23°C in several regions, with the highest recorded at 23.8°C in Chryssoupoli, Peristeri. Despite the warm days, frost is still expected in some inland areas overnight.

Looking ahead, the weather will remain generally clear on Sunday, with only scattered clouds over parts of the Aegean. Winds will stay light to moderate, and temperatures will remain stable, reaching up to 21°C in some areas. However, meteorologists warn that a brief “winter flash” could arrive after March 16 before spring fully takes over.
