Mitsotakis at the Cabinet meeting: The way of working is changing, I want tangible results, I will personally oversee certain actions

The generation of 40-year-olds takes on key portfolios in an effort at renewal by Kyriakos Mitsotakis – Kostis Hatzidakis at the Maximos Mansion

Newsroom March 15 10:50

Kyriakos Mitsotakis, upon arriving at the Presidential Palace, did not make any statements to journalists, only telling them that it was “a beautiful sunny day.”

Following the swearing-in ceremony and the cabinet meeting, the new government officials will proceed to their respective ministries. There, the official handover ceremonies for each portfolio will take place.

The process will begin immediately after the cabinet meeting and is expected to be lengthy, as in some cases, ministers will have to transition between different ministries—first handing over responsibilities at one ministry before moving on to assume their new role at another.

What Will Happen to the “Morning Coffee” at Maximos Mansion?

At the Maximos Mansion, a significant restructuring is taking place with the arrival of Kostis Hatzidakis.

As a consequence of this reorganization, the composition of the “morning coffee” meeting—currently consisting of more than 15 members—is being streamlined. Every day at around 08:30, the meeting will be attended by Mr. Hatzidakis, Mr. Skertsos, government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis, Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister Giorgos Mylonakis, Secretary-General to the Prime Minister Stelios Koutnatzis, and the heads of the government’s communication team.
