The weather is expected to change rapidly from Tuesday, following the summer temperatures that have prevailed in recent days, as a drop in mercury is expected, turning the scene, once again, into winter.
Today’s weather will be clear in most parts of Greece with long periods of sunshine and African dust. However, after the high temperatures, a change in weather is expected starting Tuesday (3/18), with cold, rain and snow in some areas. Improvement is expected towards the end of the week, with normal for the season temperatures.
Specifically, the temperature is expected to drop significantly, and as EMY director Thodoris Kolydas says, “average temperature drop is estimated around 15°C in most of the central and northern part of the country.”
Calliope: Tuesday’s weather change brings snow
According to a post by Yannis Kallianos, snow is expected in some areas from Tuesday (18/3), while the coldest day of the week will be Wednesday (19/3).
