The Ben Gvir rejoins Israel‘s governing coalition with his Jewish Power party, following the end of the Gaza ceasefire and the resumption of hostilities.
In a joint statement issued by the ruling party, Likud, and the “Jewish Force,” they announced that Ben Gvir and two other ministers would rejoin the government as early as today.
Ben Gvir resigned as national security minister in January in protest at the ceasefire agreement.
At the time, he said that the remaining hostages in Gaza should be released “by force.”
The minister for the development of the Negev and Galilee, Yitzhak Vaserlaf, and Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu had also resigned in January.
