Washington and Moscow are working to establish a moratorium on strikes on military and civilian ships in the Black Sea between Russia and Ukraine, US President Donald Trump’s special envoy, Steven Whitcoff, said Wednesday.
Witkov noted that for now, the parties have agreed to stop attacks on energy facilities.
“We are also working on a moratorium on strikes against military and civilian ships in the Black Sea, cargo ships carrying grain and things like that, Trump’s envoy said in an interview with Bloomberg.
“And eventually that will have to evolve into a full cease-fire, which is a little more complicated because there’s a 2,000-kilometer border, there’s Kursk and there are a lot of other details,” he added.
