Dangerous nights in Dubai: The ‘Porta Potty’ parties and the Ukrainian model found near death on the street

Models and influencers are lavishly paid to attend these parties and fulfill the desires of wealthy men

Newsroom March 29 09:30

Concerns are rising over the infamous ‘porta potty’ parties in Dubai after reports surfaced that a Ukrainian OnlyFans model was found abandoned and severely injured on the side of a road.

Maria Kovalchuk, a 20-year-old, was thrilled when she told her friends she had been invited to an exclusive party at a luxury hotel in Dubai on March 9.

Ten days after she went missing, the young woman was found near death, battered and bleeding, left on the roadside with a broken spine and limbs.

Reports suggest that the unfortunate woman, who was rushed to the hospital and underwent four life-saving surgeries, may have attended a ‘porta potty’ party, according to The Mirror.

At these gatherings, women are reportedly paid large sums to engage in degrading sexual acts.

What Are ‘Porta Potty’ Parties?

Online discussions reveal that influencers are flown to Dubai, all expenses paid, to participate in these controversial parties. Forums on Reddit have emerged discussing the phenomenon.

According to The New York Post, internet celebrities, models, and actresses can earn up to $100,000 in exchange for fulfilling the wishes of ultra-wealthy men.

Reports from Ukrainian media indicate that Maria attended one of these parties, where she met “two men who introduced themselves as modeling agents.”

Radha Stirling, CEO of Detained in Dubai, an organization that helps individuals navigate the UAE’s legal system, explained to The Mirror how influencers are lured into these events.

“We have received multiple complaints from influencers and performers who were invited to Dubai for shows and events, only to find themselves pressured into participating in such parties.”

She added that UAE laws regarding extramarital sex were relaxed in 2022, which some have exploited.

“Women must be aware that they could find themselves in dangerous situations. If a married man is involved, they could even be charged with adultery.”

Following the harrowing incident, Maria’s mother, Anna, arrived in Dubai to be by her daughter’s side.

Anna stated: “She is receiving medical care, and everything will be fine.”

Meanwhile, Dubai police confirmed that the “Ukrainian citizen who was reported missing is hospitalized and receiving medical treatment under the presence of her family.”

Their investigation concluded that Maria suffered severe injuries after allegedly entering a restricted construction site alone and falling from a great height.

However, Russian news agency Shot reported that the model’s family disputes the official findings. “I cannot comment due to the ongoing investigation,” her mother simply stated.

At the time of her disappearance, Maria had told her mother she would be spending the night with two men who claimed to be modeling agents.

She had also booked a flight to Thailand departing from Dubai on March 11 but never showed up at the airport, prompting her family and friends to alert the authorities.

A friend of Maria, also a model, confirmed that both had been invited to a party, but she changed her mind at the last minute and decided not to go.
