Investigation by Internal Affairs into bribery in Thessaloniki – Mortuary workers and forensic doctors involved, two arrests

Further arrests likely by the end of the day, according to reports

An operation by the Internal Affairs Division of the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.) is currently underway in Thessaloniki, starting on the morning of Monday (April 7), concerning a bribery and corruption case reportedly involving mortuary workers and forensic doctors.

According to protothema.gr, officers from the Internal Affairs unit have so far made two arrests. The individuals are facing charges of accepting and offering bribes. Further details about the case have not yet been released.
