This year’s Resurrection in Neos Kosmos was explosive once again. Molotov cocktails, fireworks, and other explosives were thrown on Lagoumitzi Street, in front of the Church of the Ascension, immediately after ‘Christ is Risen’ was proclaimed.

“It is a ‘custom’ that was established in 2011 by unknown individuals, where during the Resurrection, firecrackers, fireworks, and even Molotov cocktails are thrown on the street in front of the Church of the Ascension.
