15 firefighters with 5 vehicles are responding - 'The smoke is heading towards your area. Stay indoors, close doors and windows,' the 112 message states

A fire broke out on Wednesday evening in an outdoor area in Votanikos, between Agiou Polykarpou and Pefkon streets

According to the Fire Department, the fire started shortly after 19:30 in an area where there are waste materials.

At the scene, 12 firefighters with 4 vehicles are operating.”
