“He threw coffee at me, cursed me, and hit me:” Driver blocks KTEL bus

The KTEL bus encountered a car blocking its path at the height of Mylos and used its horn to get it to move away from the spot. The passenger in the car then attacked and injured the bus driver

Newsroom April 23 07:41

A bus driver was assaulted in Mylos, Argolida, while completing the Athens – Leonidio route.

The KTEL bus honked at a car that was blocking its way prompting it to move.

According to argolideseidiseis.gr, the honking seemed to infuriate the passenger in the car, who threw a coffee at the bus driver, exited the vehicle, and a scuffle ensued.

This resulted in injuries to the head and face of the KTEL driver, who received first aid from the Mylos Health Center.

“Out of the blue, he threw coffee at me, cursed me, and hit me. The deputy mayor knows him well; you can go ask the deputy mayor. I honked because he was in the middle of the road, and he came down to confront me. He hit me because I honked at him. I have witnesses, the whole bus,” said the driver.
