Commission: EUR 3.13 billion disbursed to Greece under the Recovery and Resilience Programme

The Commission spokesman, Macie Berestetsky, at the start of today’s European Commission press conference, spoke of good news to come and referred to Greece, the disbursement of 3.13 billion.

“Today, therefore, the European Commission has disbursed €3.13 billion to Greece under the Recovery and Resilience Facility programme, he said. As Berestetski said, “Greece has made remarkable progress in achieving 28 key milestones and 4 important targets. This financial support will be instrumental in strengthening the country’s infrastructure and services. Greece has already upgraded its electricity, it has already streamlined the grid and has made progress on administrative procedures with the expansion of digital services”, stressing that these are just some of the country’s improvements.

The Commission spokesman said that the “Recovery and Resilience Fund facilitates and makes a key contribution to helping member states”, stressing that “so far we have disbursed more than 300 billion euros to our member states”.
