The London Underground network and the Elizabeth line are experiencing significant difficulties due to a widespread power outage that occurred on Monday afternoon. According to reports, the blackout affected the southwestern side of the city around 14:30 (local time), with power being restored shortly afterward. However, delays and service suspensions continue, creating chaos for commuters.

The Bakerloo and Waterloo & City lines have been taken out of service, while trains are not running between London Bridge and Finchley Road on the Jubilee line. On the Northern line, service has been interrupted between Euston and Kennington, as well as south of Stockwell, causing serious travel disruptions.

The Elizabeth line is also experiencing major delays, with services completely suspended between Abbey Wood and Paddington. Waterloo station, which is normally served by the Jubilee, Northern, and Bakerloo lines, is one of the most affected, with thousands of passengers seeking alternative routes.
