Although he is not particularly eager to play on clay courts, Nick Kyrgios has decided to return to Roland Garros this year.
He will not participate in the singles but will compete in the doubles alongside Jordan Thompson. Roland Garros begins on May 25 in Paris, and Nick will be there for the first time in 8 years.
His last appearance in the singles was in 2017. “The French Open was never in my plans, but Jordan was looking for a partner and asked me to play together,” he said.
In 2017, he was eliminated in the second round by Kevin Anderson.
The Australian tennis player won the doubles title at the Australian Open in 2022 with Thanasis Kokkiniakis, and the same year reached the Wimbledon final.
In 2023, he played only one match, and in 2025, he has five!
