Today, May 30th, students of General Lyceums (GEL) are taking the Modern Greek Language and Literature exam (specifically the Essay section) as part of the Panhellenic Examinations, aiming to secure a place in Higher Education for the academic year 2025-2026.
Candidates are examined in the subject of Modern Greek Language and Literature, which is a General Education course.

Panhellenic Exams 2025: The exam schedule for GEL students
GEL candidates continue on Monday, June 2nd, with Ancient Greek (for the Humanities Orientation Group), Mathematics (for the Positive Sciences and Economics & Informatics Groups), and Biology (for the Health Sciences Group).
On Wednesday, June 4th, students will be examined in Latin (Humanities Orientation), Chemistry (Positive Sciences and Health Sciences), and Informatics (Economics and Informatics Group).
The exams for the nationally tested subjects will conclude on Friday, June 6th, with History (Humanities Group), Physics (Positive Sciences and Health Sciences Groups), and Economics (Economics and Informatics Group).
Panhellenic Exams 2025 – Vocational Lyceum (EPL) schedule
Similarly, the schedule for the Panhellenic Exams for Vocational Lyceum (EPL) students is as follows: the exams start on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, with Modern Greek. This is followed on June 3rd with Mathematics (Algebra). From June 5th to June 16th, students will take exams in their specialization subjects.
Finally, it is worth noting that the exams for specialized subjects will take place from June 14th to June 25th, 2025. Additionally, the Medical Examinations and Practical Tests for candidates (GEL and EPL) for admission to Departments of Physical Education and Sports Sciences (TEFAA) will be held from June 16th to June 27th.
