Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis shared images of the sabotage that occurred at Evangelismos Hospital, describing the incident as “truly shameful.” He stated that the issue will be repaired within 48 hours and expressed hope that authorities will identify and apprehend those responsible.

In a social media post, Mr. Georgiadis posted photos from the scene, assuring that the problem would be addressed within two days. “We will have it repaired within 48 hours, but patients will be inconvenienced for two days,” he wrote. The hospital’s administration has already filed a complaint with the authorities, and a security team has commenced an investigation.

According to reports, the damage is extensive, with half of the hospital left without air conditioning.

“A few photos of the sabotage at the ‘Pateras’ building of Evangelismos, which took place last night. Unknown individuals dismantled the cables of the central air conditioning system, apparently in anticipation of the heatwave… Draw your own conclusions. We will have it repaired within 48 hours, but patients will suffer for two days. What can I say? Truly shameful. I hope the authorities identify and arrest those responsible.”
