Olympiacos will not go to the scheduled meeting with Giannis Vroutsis and Dimitris Giannakopoulos, which is set for Wednesday at 15:00.
On Tuesday morning, the Deputy Minister of Sports revealed that the owner of Panathinaikos B.C. will be present, expressing optimism that the same will happen with Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos.
Olympiacos Will Not Attend the Meeting
However, given the current circumstances, this is unlikely to happen, as both are determined to stick to their initial commitment — as they always do — and refuse to sit at the same table as Dimitris Giannakopoulos.
While, as was announced yesterday, they wish for the championship to conclude, they absolutely do not want to discuss anything with the person they accuse of making certain comments about Giorgos Angelopoulos’s daughter.
The Championship Is at Risk
If nothing changes, the mere presence of Dimitris Giannakopoulos at this meeting will mean the definitive suspension of the championship, opening a cycle of confrontation over who will be declared the winner.
