In an interview with the state news agency TASS, Ryabkov said, “The equipment in question, as stated by representatives of the Defense Ministry, was not destroyed but damaged. It will be restored.”

According to two US officials who spoke to Reuters, the US estimates that the Ukrainian drone attack last weekend hit up to 20 Russian warplanes, destroying about 10 of them – a number that is about half of the Ukrainian president’s estimate Volodymyr Zelensky.

Vladimir Putin told U.S. President Donald Trump in a phone call yesterday, Wednesday, that Moscow should respond to the June 1 attack.
