A hungry elephant from Khao Yai National Park in Thailand caused chaos at a local corner store as he walked in and started eating the produce off the shelves.
The elephant, named Plai Biang Lek, is known to locals for visiting people’s homes in search of food.
He wandered about a kilometre from the park entrance gate to the shop.
According to shopkeepers, Biang devoured nine bags of sweet rice crackers, a sandwich and a few bananas before being eaten away by people at the site.
