Mother and son were found dead inside their home in the village of Georganades in the municipality of Farkadona.

A police car of the Farkadona Police Department was immediately called to the scene, as well as rescuers from the ambulance service, who confirmed their death. The area has been cordoned off, while forensic and police authorities are awaiting further action.

The cause of death remains unknown so far. Initial indications are not yet clear, and all possibilities are being considered, including the possibility of inhalation of fumes or other factors. Official information from the competent authorities is awaited.
