With no active front are the fires that broke out earlier on Tuesday (10/6) in Anabyssos, Lesvos, and Xanthi.
Specifically, the fire in Anavissos was burning near houses and even sent a message from 112 to those in Anavissos and Palea Fokida to move away towards Athens. To extinguish the fire, 45 firefighters with 13 vehicles, 1 hiking team of the 1st EMODE, 4 aircraft, and 2 helicopters rushed to the scene. Water trucks of local authorities also assisted.
Vehicle traffic is blocked on Lavrion Avenue from the height of its confluence with an anonymous road just before “Ktima Hatzis” in the area of the settlement of Sinterina, in the direction of Anavyssos.

As pointed out, speaking to protothema.gr the fire meteorologist Theodore Yannaros, citizens should be particularly careful given that strong winds will continue to blow tomorrow. Both today and tomorrow are expected to be quite difficult, and the risk level is at level 3. Fire fronts have already broken out both on Lesvos, where the 112 has sounded, and in Avdira, Xanthi.
