AEK: Agreement with Dessers, according to Scottish reports

According to the Scottish outlet Daily Record, Cyriel Dessers has reached an agreement with AEK, and now the Greek club needs to reach a deal with Rangers

Newsroom June 13 07:30

AEK is currently pursuing three advanced transfer targets to strengthen its squad, aiming to finalize them soon.

For the striker position, Cyriel Dessers stands out as a key target for AEK. The Rangers striker is reportedly open to the move. However, this will not be an easy deal, as the 30-year-old Nigerian forward has been the top scorer for the “Gers,” scoring 51 goals over the past two seasons.

Daily Record claims that Dessers has already agreed verbally to a contract with AEK, which would earn him €1.8 million annually.

The same report adds that AEK must now negotiate with Rangers, who are reportedly demanding around €6 million for the player. So far, there is no indication that AEK has initiated talks with the Scottish club, and it remains to be seen whether negotiations will take place in the near future.
