Winter STEM fun with the Greek Community Schools

The program invites participants to become little scientists & explorers, discovering the wonders of nature through hands-on experiments & creative play - all within an environment that encourages the use of the Greek language

Newsroom June 22 10:29

The Schools of the Greek Community of Melbourne continue to support the education and Greek language learning of children in the community—even during the school holidays—by offering engaging and enriching opportunities beyond the classroom.

On the 7th, 8th, and 10th of July, they have organised an interactive and creative school holiday program specially designed for students aged 4 to 10 years.

Titled “STEM in Their Element – Discovering Water, Light, and Air through Play and Exploration,” the program invites participants to become little scientists and explorers, discovering the wonders of nature through hands-on experiments and creative play—all within an environment that encourages the use of the Greek language.

The sessions will be held on:

  • Monday, 7 July at Huntingdale
  • Tuesday, 8 July at Footscray
  • Thursday, 10 July at Balwyn

Families can choose between a full-day session (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) or a half-day session (12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.).
