U.S. President Donald Trump stated that both Israel and Iran have violated the ceasefire agreement brokered through American efforts in the Middle East, according to Reuters.
According to Trump, Tehran has completely lost its nuclear capabilities following U.S. strikes and, as he said, “its nuclear program has disappeared.” He also assured that Iran “will never rebuild it.”
Speaking to reporters, President Trump emphasized: “I’m not happy with either side. And to be honest, I’m really unhappy with Israel. Basically, we’ve got two countries fighting so much and so hard that they don’t know what the hell they’re doing.”
“Israel, right after we closed the deal, went out and dropped a load of bombs like I’ve never seen before,” the U.S. president remarked.
These comments came at a moment when hopes for stabilizing the situation had been rekindled following the initial ceasefire agreement between Tehran and Tel Aviv.
