Brooklyn Beckham expressed his love publicly for his father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, despite noticeably missing his own father David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration last month. The 26-year-old shared a post on his personal Instagram account to send birthday wishes to his fiancée Nicola Peltz’s father.
Specifically, in an Instagram story, the eldest Beckham son posted a photo with his wife Nicola Peltz and her father Nelson, wishing him a happy 83rd birthday. “Happy birthday Nelson, we love you,” he wrote in the caption.

Nicola Peltz also honored her father with a post on her Instagram, sharing an old childhood photo. “Happy birthday to my king!!!” the 30-year-old actress wrote. “I’m so lucky to have you as a dad, you’re the most loving and supportive father I could have ever dreamed of! I love you so much!!! Wishing all your dreams come true!!”

The couple’s public birthday wishes to Nelson Peltz came just weeks after Brooklyn’s absence from David Beckham’s glamorous birthday party, which reignited rumors of a rift within the Beckham family.
According to a report by Page Six earlier this month, Brooklyn Beckham is said to have cut off all communication with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. “Brooklyn told his family he doesn’t want any contact and is not responding to anyone trying to reach him,” a source close to the family said.
David Beckham attempted to dismiss rumors of a family crisis on Father’s Day by posting a photo of his four children—Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper—with the caption: “The most important and beloved job in my life is being a dad. I’m so proud of all of you, and as I tell you every day, I will always be here for you, no matter what.”
A few days later, David made another effort to reach out to his son by tagging Brooklyn in a comment on Instagram, marking Brooklyn’s recent knighthood from King Charles III.
Rumors of a rift between Nicola Peltz and Victoria Beckham date back to the couple’s wedding in 2022, when reports surfaced of clashes between the two women during the wedding preparations.
