Gerapetritis in Benghazi on Sunday – He will meet with Haftar

A visit to Benghazi will take place on Sunday, July 6 by Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis. There, he will meet with Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar.

According to the official briefing, a few days later, Gerapetritis will pay a visit to Tripoli, where he will hold meetings with other Libyan officials on the EEZ, at a time of intense deliberations on whether or not the Turkish memorandum will be ratified by the Tobruk parliament.

The update from the Foreign Ministry:

“Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis will travel to Benghazi, Libya, on Sunday, July 6, where he will meet with the head of the Libyan National Army, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar. On Tuesday, July 15, the Foreign Minister will visit Tripoli, where he will hold meetings with officials.”
