At the Bal d’Été 2025 — a dinner artistically directed by Sofia Coppola in the gardens of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs — Athina Onassis chose to make one of her rare public appearances.

The granddaughter of Aristotle Onassis was photographed wearing a long rose-colored gown, nude high heels, and with her hair loose over her shoulders. She was one of just 300 strictly invited guests at the invitation-only event, which attracted key figures from the worlds of art, fashion, contemporary lifestyle, and Europe’s enfant gâté elite.

Athina Onassis tends to avoid the spotlight, always opting for discreet and carefully chosen appearances — especially when they involve a philanthropic cause. Le Bal d’Été is a charitable event, and this year’s purpose was to support the upcoming exhibition 1925–2025: One Hundred Years of Art Deco.

Her most recent appearance before this, on July 7, was in March 2025, also in Paris, where she attended a dinner hosted by the Centre Pompidou in the City of Light.
