Another wind farm will be added to the rich portfolio of Terna Energy, which maintains its position as a leader in the domestic wind energy market. In particular, the APE group has received the green light from the Ministry of Environment for the construction of a new 63 MW wind farm in the region of Boeotia.
According to the Environmental Conditions Approval Decision (ERO), issued by the General Directorate of Environmental Policy of the Ministry of Environment, the project involves: “Wind Power Plant for the Production of Electricity (ASPHE) at the location “Paliovouna” with a capacity of 63 MW, in the Municipality of Chaeronea, Municipality of Levadeon, and in the Municipality of Orchomenos, Municipality of Orchomenos, Boeotia, Region of Central Greece”.
The ASPEO will consist of 15 wind turbines of type Enercon E-115 of nominal power of 4.2 MW each, with a pylon height of 149 meters, impeller diameter of 115.7 meters, and a total height of 207 meters.
