A 58-year-old man got into an argument with another bus driver on the street, outside the buses.
A bus driver has been arrested for attempted homicide against a colleague, whom he injured using a bus following a verbal altercation.
The suspect, a 58-year-old man, is being held at the Department for the Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes in Kolonos and will be brought before the prosecutor.
The incident occurred last night at the intersection of Agiou Polykarpou and Amphipoleos streets in the Kolonos district.
According to police reports, the 58-year-old argued with the other bus driver on the street, outside the buses.
The 46-year-old victim then attempted to flee on his motorcycle, which was at the scene, but the 58-year-old entered his bus, chased him down, and hit him, resulting in injuries to the victim’s upper and lower limbs.
The injured man was transported and is being treated at the General State Hospital of Nikaia.
